This is a plain-language summary of how LivJrny handles your data. If you have any question, write to us via the contact page.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored hashed) when you register, or your Google profile basics if you sign in with Google.
- Event content: photos, videos, guest names, captions, guest lists and seating data that you or your guests upload to your events and albums.
- Payment details: handled by our payment providers (Stripe and Billplz). We never see or store your card number.
How your photos are handled
- Galleries and albums are private by default and reachable only through unguessable links that you share.
- You control publishing: nothing appears publicly unless you make it public.
- You can delete photos, albums or your whole account at any time; plan retention windows apply to event files.
Cookies and analytics
- We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and remember your language.
- We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (heatmaps and session replays of page interactions) and Cloudflare for security and aggregate traffic analytics. These help us improve the product.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
Who can see what
- Your guests see only the upload page and galleries you share with them.
- Collaborators you invite see only what their role allows (for example seating arrangement without venue editing).
- Our team accesses account data only to provide support or investigate abuse.
Data removal
To delete your account and its data, use your profile settings or contact us and we will remove it.
